Engineering plastic in rod form, standing out with its high mechanical strength, low friction coefficient, and superior wear resistance properties.
POM-C (DELRIN®) (Polyacetal Copolymer) rods are engineering plastics that stand out with their high mechanical strength, low friction coefficient, and superior wear resistance properties. Thanks to their semi-crystalline structure, they are resistant to deformation under load and offer reliable performance in applications requiring tight tolerances.
POM-C (DELRIN®) rods offer a lighter, lower-maintenance, and more easily machinable solution compared to metal alternatives. They provide stable performance, especially in mechanical systems operating at high speeds and involving continuous movement.
POM-C (DELRIN®) engineering plastics are widely used in industry due to their high wear resistance and low friction properties. In Turkey, this material is often referred to by the name "Delrin®". However, Delrin® is a registered trademark of DuPont and actually refers to the POM homopolymer product group.
POM-C (DELRIN®) rods offer a structure that maintains its dimensional stability across a wide temperature range, is minimally affected by moisture, and is resistant to many chemicals. Thanks to these features, they can be used safely in both dry and oily environments.
Minimizes surface loss and wear during long-term use.
Reduces energy loss and friction thanks to its slippery surface. / Reduces energy loss and friction thanks to its low-friction surface.
Offers a strong structure resistant to impact and fatigue.
Shows high resistance to oils, fuels, and solvents.
Shows high resistance to oils, fuels, and solvents.
Provides highly suitable conditions for CNC and machining.
POM-C (DELRIN®) rods are preferred especially in applications requiring low friction and high surface quality. When used as an alternative to metal parts, they reduce noise in the system and minimize the need for lubrication. At the same time, their creep resistance under load is high, ensuring stable operation by maintaining their form during long-term use.
POM-C rods are preferred in many industrial applications requiring high precision, low friction, and wear resistance.
