Product Description

Cast PA6 (Cast Polyamide) sheets are engineering plastics that offer higher mechanical strength, better dimensional stability, and a higher load-bearing capacity compared to extruded PA6. Thanks to the casting production method, a material with low internal stress and a homogeneous structure is obtained.

Due to these features, cast PA6 sheets are preferred especially in applications operating under heavy loads, requiring thick cross-sections and high precision. Being lighter than metal alternatives, they provide the advantage of lower friction and quieter operation.

Material Properties

Cast PA6 sheets can acquire application-specific performance-enhancing properties thanks to their additive-capable structure. They offer solutions suitable for different operating conditions with oil-filled, MoS2-filled, or heat-stabilized variants.

Technical Features and Advantages

Very High Mechanical Strength

Provides stable performance and power transmission under heavy loads.

High Wear Resistance

Minimizes wear in long-term industrial uses.

Low Internal Stress

Reduces the risk of post-processing deformation and warping.

High Toughness

Exhibits superior resistance against impacts and demanding conditions.

Dimensional Stability

Ensures precision by maintaining its form even in thick cross-sections.

Good Machinability

Offers a structure highly suitable for CNC and chip removal machining.

Technical Performance and Application Behavior

Cast PA6 sheets offer high performance, especially in applications bearing loads and forming sliding surfaces. Thanks to their low friction property, they reduce wear and extend system life. Thanks to their low internal stress structure, warping and deformation in machined parts remain at a minimum level, which provides a significant advantage in precision manufacturing processes.

Application Areas

Cast PA6 sheets are widely used in heavy industrial applications requiring high load-bearing capacity and wear resistance.

Sliding and bearing plates: Provides low friction under load.
Heavy load-bearing machine parts: Offers stable and long-lasting use.
Conveyor systems: Used in surface and conveyor elements.
Bearing bushings and guides: Offers wear-resistant solutions.
Agricultural and textile machinery: Resistant to harsh operating conditions.
General machinery manufacturing: Suitable for thick and high-strength parts.
